I guess there is a lot of reason to be pessimistic about the current state of the internet, mostly being dominated by large corporations that trade convenience and functionality for data. Let’s not give up just yet, though!
Use a different browser
- Apparently, vanilla Firefox is no longer the best option for privacy.
- I recently started using Falkon, which I have enjoyed using (and which is being maintained by the KDE folk)
- Badwolf looks interesting, however is too hardcore minimal for my taste for now (also I did not get ad blocking running)

- Excellent idea, but for my printer and gaming, this is not an option =(
